Jerusha Rai is a Nepali indie singer-songwriter and music producer known for her experimental fusion of traditional Nepali folk sounds with contemporary pop, rock, and electronic influences. Born in Kathmandu, she attended St. Mary’s Secondary School and was immersed in Nepali folk music and instruments. Rai relocated to London for university studies and became involved with the Nepali diaspora music scene. Her self-released EP “We All Make Mistapes” gained attention, and her debut album “A Dark Place to Think” (2016) showcased her evocative songwriting. Her second album, “Sunsaan” (2019), explored Nepal’s political turmoil and mental health issues. Rai celebrates her indigenous Kiranti roots and uses music as a medium of healing. In 2023, she mysteriously disappeared after leaving her Kathmandu home without her phone, shocking Nepal’s music scene where she had been praised as a pioneering female indie artist and powerful creative voice. 🎵🌟

Kunti Moktan is a talented Nepali singer known for her classical training and her ability to seamlessly blend folk and modern music. Born on July 11, 1962, in Margaret’s Hope Tea Estate, Darjeeling, India, she later moved to Kathmandu, Nepal, in 1983 to pursue her musical career. Kunti is best known for her folk-pop songs, including hits like “Choli Ramro,” “Nishthuri Mayalu,” and “Mathi Mathi Sailungey Ma.” She often collaborates with her husband, Shila Bahadur Moktan, who is also a musician and singer. Besides her singing career, Kunti teaches music at various schools. 🎤

Born on December 11 in Kathmandu, Nepal, to Devendra Prasad Bhatta and Tara Devi Bhatta, Manzayashree Bhatta was raised in the Samakhusi area of Kathmandu. One of her notable songs, “Timlai Samjhiye”, gained popularity among listeners and media, further establishing her presence in the music scene. In 2024, Manzayashree achieved international recognition with the release of her single “Jhyain”, a collaborative Indo-Nepali fusion track featuring Bollywood singer Dev Negi. The song was showcased at Times Square in New York City, symbolizing a significant milestone in her career. The music video, directed by renowned cinematographer Binod Pradhan, was filmed at Mumbai's Imperial Palace and featured choreography by the acclaimed duo Bosco-Caesar. The track has garnered over 84.5 million views on YouTube, highlighting its global appeal .

Koshish Chhetri is singer, song writer and actor. At a young age of 7, Koshish was pushed to perform on the stage for the first time. ‘Rudai Chhin Aama’ was his first recording that established him as a child singer. After modeling for his own music video titled ‘Daiva Ko Ris’, Koshish became successful in establishing himself as an actor. This versatile personality secured his first movie role in 2014. He won the CG Kamana Film Award for best debut actor, Nepal Film Critics Award for best actor and Sixth Cine Award under the public choice category for his performance in the movie “Mokshya”. His second movie is ‘Parva’. His second movie ‘Parva’ was a critical and commercial success. He is also the man behind the lyrics and music of the hit song ‘Kale Dai’.
