Shrawan Kumar Adhikari

Manaraja Nakarmi is a Nepali musician and music director known for his extensive work in Nepal Bhasa, Nepali Aadhunik, Bhajan, and national songs. Active since the 2010s, he has composed and arranged music for numerous songs across genres, including Nepal Bhasa classics, modern Nepali pop, devotional Krishna and Buddha bhajans, and patriotic works. His credits include compositions for artists such as Mohan Shakya, Asha Nakarmi, Bishwo Nepali, Mira Rana, and Kumar Kancha, along with multiple self‑produced releases on his YouTube channel.

Shiva Shankar Manandhar (1932–2004) was a legendary figure in Nepali music and cinema, celebrated for his versatility as a singer, composer, and actor. Born in Newroad, Kathmandu, to a musically inclined Newar family, his early exposure to classical Newari songs through his father, Man Bahadur, laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music. He joined Radio Nepal in 1951, where he collaborated with Nati Kaji to shape the golden era of Nepali music. Over his prolific career, he composed around 1,200 songs and sang nearly 300, spanning genres like love ballads, bhajans, patriotic anthems, and tragic melodies. His compositions for artists such as Narayan Gopal, Tara Devi, and Aruna Lama remain timeless. 🎬 In cinema, Shiva Shankar played the lead role of Lahure Dai in Aama (1964), Nepal’s first feature film. Nisha Deshar (निशा देशार) is a distinguished Nepali singer renowned for her contributions to the genres of ghazals and modern Nepali songs. Born on December 12, 1984 (Poush 27, 2041 B.S.), in Chapagaun, Lalitpur, Nepal, she is the daughter of Gyanlal Deshar and Chiri Maya Deshar. Nisha's musical journey commenced in 2001 (2058 B.S.) with her debut recording in the Nepal Bhasha language. She holds a Diploma in Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and has pursued academic studies, completing her SLC from Prerana Mahila Bidhyalaya and +2 from Bagmati Community Campus, majoring in English. Throughout her career, Nisha has released several albums, including:​ Lokarpan (2067 B.S.): A collection of ghazals and modern songs.​ Nisha (2070 B.S.): A compilation in the Nepal Bhasha language.​ Sharab (2071 B.S.): An album dedicated to ghazals.​ Her melodious voice and emotive performances have earned her accolades such as the Image Award, Bindabasini Award, Kalika Award, and the Rapati National Ghazal Award. In addition to her recordings, Nisha actively engages in nurturing young talent. She served as the chief guest at the Inter School Nepali Ghazal Singing Competition organized by DAV School, where she performed and motivated aspiring singers.
