She owns her own movie production house called " Rekha Films". Rekha Thapa is a Founde / President of the Rekha Thapa Foundation of Nepal , She is also a social worker who is helping the poor families and children who are in need. Keshab Bhattarai was a respected Nepali actor and film producer who played a significant role in the country’s cinema for over three decades. He made his acting debut in the film Koseli directed by Tulsi Ghimire and appeared in around fifty Nepali movies throughout his career. As a producer, Bhattarai worked on several films including Yatra, Bracelet, So Simple, Karmayoddha, and Aafno Manche. He also served as the Chairperson of the Film Development Board and was Senior Vice President of the Nepal Film Producer’s Association, contributing to the growth of the film industry before his passing in 2019
