Neetesh Jung Kunwar

Milesh Tandukar is a highly respected tabla virtuoso, composer, and music educator from Kathmandu, Nepal. A graduate of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, he trained under legendary gurus like Pandit Satya Narayan Chaudhary, Pandit Homnath Upadhyaya, and Pandit Prem Chandra Ojhaiya. He is the founder of the Pandit Satya Narayan Chaudhary Memorial Academy and has performed extensively across Nepal, India, France, and Japan. Milesh is known for his versatility across rhythm instruments including mridanga, dhime, dhol, djimbe, and nagada, and has contributed to albums like Musical Journey to Sindhuli Gadhi and Voiceless Voice. He is a recognized artist on Radio Nepal and Nepal Television, and teaches at institutions like Modern Indian School and Kalanidhi Indira Sangeet Mahavidyalaya.

Anju Panta is a Nepali ghazals and playback singer. Having lent her voice to popular numbers like the title song of Ma Timi Bina Marihaalchhu, Bhun bhun bolyo bhamara of Saput, Dil yo mero dil in Kismat, and Sustari sustari mannma for Darr, Anju has sung for 18 films and more than 100 Nepali melodious songs both in duets and solos.  

Kandara Band, also known simply as Kandara, is a musical group from Pokhara, Nepal. The band formed in 1994 and takes its name from the Nepalese word for “a gorge or a cave in the middle of remote hills or mountains.” They have been instrumental in establishing the folk-pop genre within the Nepalese music industry. Some of their popular songs include: “Lekaki Hey Maya”: A soulful track that resonated with listeners. “Hongkong Pokhara”: This song gained fame beyond Pokhara and Nepal, becoming popular among migrant Nepalese worldwide. “Tagaroma Rumal Rakhi”: A hit that rejuvenated the band after an 8-year break. Kandara collaborates with renowned Nepalese poets and lyricists to create meaningful lyrics. Their music emphasizes themes of nationalism, love, and nature. Surya Khadka (सुर्य खड्का) is a dynamic Nepali folk singer, composer, and songwriter known for his heartfelt Lok Dohori, Bhajan, and festival-themed songs. Originally from Nepal and currently based in Japan, he has built a strong following through his vibrant performances and consistent musical output. His music often blends traditional melodies with contemporary arrangements, and he’s especially active during cultural seasons like Teej, Dashain, and Tihar.
