Karuna Rawat is the reigning Miss Nepal International 2024. Originally from Biratnagar, she’s a nursing graduate from Western Sydney University in Australia. After moving to Australia in 2018 to pursue nursing, Karuna worked across hospitals in Sydney and regional New South Wales, focusing on mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. She also served as Vice-President of the Nepali Students club at her university, strengthening her ties to the Nepali community abroad. Crowned Miss Nepal International in 2024, she’s now preparing to represent Nepal at the Miss International pageant in Tokyo. Her advocacy centers on mental health awareness, especially among adolescents, through her initiative called Nurturing Minds. She’s also passionate about environmental sustainability and has led several local initiatives promoting green practices.
