Rabindra Singh Baniya, the world of light, camera and action began with a street play called ‘Prajatantra’ written and directed by Mohan Niraula. There has been no looking back for him who has captivated the theatre world with his phenomenal acting and directorial skill. Rabindra has recently debuted in a silver screen with ‘Talakjung Vs Tulke’—a new release in Nepali movie brigade. Get this straight—Rabindra is not the serious man that his film ‘Talakjung Vs Tulke’ has portrayed him to be. In person, he is just a guy next door: emotional, sensitive yet strong and stubborn. Moreover, he is a person who is an enduring listener and enjoys a good laugh. If he is serious about anything at all, it is his love for acting. Since his childhood, he has always had a keen interest in watching movies however he never thought of acting as a career option. He would say that he became actor by coincidence. Rabindra came to Kathmandu for his higher education but instead joined Pariwartan Nepal for acting course. Today with more than 20 street dramas performed in more than 200 places around Nepal, Rabindra has successfully carved his name as one of the most recognized face in Nepali theatre industry. Besides, acting, directing and producing movies, little known is that Rabindra also has keen interest in agro-entrepreneurship and has co-founded “Green Gold Farm House”.

Prajwal studied piano at 6 and is still learning. He performed extensively all over Nepal. He has been involved in a diverse multitude of musical projects extending across a comprehensive range of musical styles, including pop, rock, R&B, commercial music, Indian Classical, Western Classical, Jazz, Fusion, etc. as well as the broad spectrum of Nepali music collaborating with local, national and international artists. Involvement in the recording industry, commercial television production, music theatre, and teaching rounded out his activities in Nepal. Prajwal is a member of the Music Association of Nepal and has actively worked as a Keyboardist and a Music Director with International Franchise Television reality shows such as Nepal Idol, Voice of Nepal, SaReGaMaPa Li’l Champs, and other local reality shows. Prajwal has extensive experience in music performances. He worked in the prestigious music club of Nepal, “RAJGHARANA,” for three years and toured with many well-known Nepali, Indian, and other international musicians. He was also on the faculty of Nepal Music Center, Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, and the University of North Texas, currently teaching Piano. Prajwal is currently focused on creating original music and is a member of several Nepali bands performing concerts with visiting international music artists.

The film explores themes of accountability and emotional healing, and Sebita’s dual role reflects her versatility in both performance and production. Playback Theatre: She’s connected to the Wednesday Playback Theatre Circle, which uses improvisational storytelling to reflect community experiences. Deshbhakta Khanal is a talented actor and director from Nepal. He began his career in theater, performing in plays like Gorakha Bhartikendra and Merchant of Venice. Later, he transitioned to television as an assistant director, working on the series Guruaama Nepalki. His film career took off with Bijaya Parajaya, where he contributed as both an actor and assistant director. Over the years, he has acted in more than 20 feature films, 45 TV serials, and 35 stage dramas. He has also worked as a scriptwriter for around 20 projects. In 1999, he started directing Nepali films, with notable works including Pinjada, Man Mero Mandaina, Santan Thari Tharika, Baazee, and Achanak. Additionally, he has been involved in international projects, such as the Japanese film Miteri Gaun (Tomodachi No Mura) and the American movie Highway to Dhampus.
