Jayananda Chand Thakuri

Gopal Bhutani (born Gopal Tamang, 1932 – November 23, 2010) was a pioneering Nepali art director, actor, and action choreographer who shaped the visual language of Nepali cinema. Born in Fikkal, Ilam, he began his film journey in Bollywood in the 1940s before returning to Nepal, where he introduced action direction to a melodrama-dominated industry. Despite his immense contributions, he struggled to obtain Nepali citizenship due to the “Bhutani” surname. Bhutani worked on over 70 films, including Balidaan, Aago, Shankar, Mamaghar, Shiris Ko Phool, and Jeevan Sangharsha. He passed away at age 78 from stomach cancer. His legacy remains foundational in Nepali film aesthetics and action choreography.

For her performance in the same play, Bhawana received the Best Actress Award, marking a major milestone in her acting career.Bhawana further expanded her recognition through television, becoming the First Runner‑Up in the Nepali acting reality show “Acting Stars”, where she was praised for her emotional depth, versatility, and natural screen presence.She also holds the title of 1st Runner‑Up, Miss Magar Nepal 2022, showcasing her talent beyond acting and representing her community with grace and confidence.Today, Bhawana Magar is regarded as a rising talent in Nepal’s theatre and screen industry—an actress shaped by grassroots performance, disciplined craft, and a growing list of national achievements.

Ishwori Pradhan is a Nepali film artist, singer, and executive producer known for her roles in classic Nepali cinema and her contributions to playback singing during the 1989–2001 era. Active across acting, music, and production, she appeared in notable films such as Behuli (1989), Sampati (1991), Sworga (1994), Saraswati (1995), Sorah Barshe Jowan (2000), and Nepal Pyaro Chha (2001). As a playback singer, she contributed to Sworga (1994) and Soon Chandi (1996), and served as executive producer for Behuli (1989). Recognized for her versatile artistic presence and collaborations with leading Nepali actors and filmmakers, Ishwori Pradhan remains an important figure in the evolution of Nepali cinema’s 90s–2000s era.
