Sharmila Bardewa is a celebrated Nepali playback and modern singer known for her soft, expressive voice and a career that spans some of the most beloved Nepali melodies of the 90s and 2000s. Her signature hits include “Phoolko Jawaf,” “Aankha Ma Jhaljhali,” “Mero Hajur Lai,” “Aaja Unle,” “Jindagi Yo,” “Duniya Ho,” “Baru Timile,” and “Maile Bhane Gurung Ni Nani.” Bardewa’s songs blend emotional depth with melodic clarity, making her a favorite among radio listeners and film audiences. Her contribution to Nepali pop and playback music remains influential across generations.  

Gyanu Rana is a celebrated Nepali singer known for her contributions to modern and folk music. Born on October 3, 1949, in Batulechaur, Pokhara, Nepal, she grew up in a musically rich environment. Her father, Dharmaraj Thapa, was a renowned poet and folk singer, and her mother, Savitri Thapa, was a cultural promoter. Gyanu Rana's upbringing deeply influenced her musical journey. She has recorded over 2,000 songs in various languages, including Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Newari. Her repertoire spans modern, classical, folk songs, bhajans, and ghazals. Some of her most iconic songs include "Siri Ma Siri Ni Kanchha" and "Manchhe Ko Maya Yaha," which she performed with the legendary Narayan Gopal. Gyanu Rana has also been a judge in national music competitions and has represented Nepal in international cultural festivals. Her career includes contributions to more than ten Nepali films as a playback singer. She retired as an Assistant Director of Music from the Royal Nepal Academy in 2006.  

Born on 17th Bhadra, Kathmandu, Ashusen Lama grew up in a musically enriched environment. The only child of Hari B. Lama and Kaili Lama, he attended various schools and completed his SLC from Shanti Bidhya School. Passionate about music from an early age, Ashusen pursued his academics at Pashupati Campus in Chabahil before taking a break to focus entirely on music. Entry into Music: Ashusen's musical journey began with winning the Asian Star title, which marked the start of his professional career. He also participated in notable reality shows like Brighter Timro Sur Mero Geet and Swor Sangam on Image FM, which helped him gain recognition. His first song, "Man Pani Timrai," recorded at Jems Pradhan’s studio, launched his career in music. Musical Career: Ashusen is well-known not only as a singer but also as a talented composer. His first album, Man Pani Timrai was a success, and he has since composed music for several Nepali films and albums. He was mentored by renowned figures like Pramod Nirwan and Sanjeev Singh, who greatly influenced his music career. Achievements and Upcoming Projects: Ashusen’s musical contributions have continued to earn him admiration, and he is currently working on his second album, which he hopes to release soon. His unique blend of soulful compositions and melodious voice has garnered him a dedicated fanbase. Dinesh Subba is a distinguished Nepali composer, singer, and lyricist, celebrated for his significant contributions to the country's music scene. Born in 1962 in Darjeeling, India, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music, laying the foundation for his artistic journey. Throughout his career, Subba has crafted numerous songs that have resonated with audiences. His discography includes the album "Spandan" released in 1991, and more recent works like the single "Yo Bhetko Samjhana (Acoustic Version)" released on July 23, 2024. Additionally, his collaboration on the album "Mannko Duri," released on March 30, 2023, showcases his versatility and enduring relevance in the music industry.
