She recently made her debut in theater with historical play Chaarumati, written by writer and a researcher Satyamohan Joshi.

Besides her acting career, Prerna is a well-known host and model. She holds the position of Brand Ambassador for Basemark in Nepalgunj. She also achieved the title of 2nd runner-up at FACE of Nepalgunj.
