Kalpana Shahi is a Nepali actress who made her film debut with Mann Pare Pachi, stepping into the Nepali film industry after working as a model. Acting came naturally to her, but modeling remains something she continues to love and identify with.Before entering films, she was active in the modeling field, and her transition to cinema was driven by personal interest and passion. After completing Mann Pare Pachi, she appeared in a few music videos, but has not remained consistently active in the industry in recent years. She continued her career with notable performances in Love Station (2019), Jackie: I Am 21 (2022/2023), Farki Farki (2024), and Jerry on Top (2025).A trained dancer, she won the UK Dance Off 2017, which strengthened her presence in performance‑based roles. Her growing influence in Nepali entertainment led to her appointment as a Judge on Super Dancer Nepal, alongside Suren Rai and Saroj Khanal.Her multicultural upbringing, screen presence, and dance background have made her one of the most prominent young actresses in contemporary Nepali cinema.
