Here are some key highlights of her remarkable journey: Dance India Dance Li’l Masters (Season 3): #Teriya began her career as a dancer at the age of 11. #She auditioned for the third season of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance Li’l Masters and was selected. #Teriya wowed the judges—Geeta Kapoor, Ahmed Khan, and Mudassar Khan—and won the competition, securing a prize of ₹10 lakh (US$14,000). #The show’s Grand Master was the legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty. #Her victory on this platform catapulted her to fame in both India and Nepal. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 9): After her success on DID Li’l Masters, Teriya participated in the ninth season of Colors TV’s celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She received a wildcard entry as a young celebrity challenger. Despite an initial elimination, she re-entered the show as a wildcard contestant. Teriya consistently delivered outstanding performances and became the first contestant to reach the finals. In the grand finale, she and her partner Aryan secured perfect scores and clinched the title. The judging panel included Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ganesh Hegde. Teriya’s journey from Nepal to India, her dedication to dance, and her impressive victories have made her a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.

Gagan Lepcha is a veteran Nepali choreographer known for his influential work in 1980s and 1990s Nepali cinema, contributing to films such as Arko Janma (1985) and other mid‑era productions. Recognized for blending classical Nepali movement with contemporary film choreography, he helped shape the visual rhythm of early commercial Nepali films. His work is noted for clean formations, expressive storytelling through dance, and strong collaboration with directors and music directors of the era.
