Mithila Sharma, born on October 16, 1963, in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a distinguished actress and dancer renowned for her significant contributions to Nepali cinema and theater. She initiated her artistic journey at the tender age of nine, performing a dance routine for King Birendra's birthday celebration. This early exposure paved the way for a prolific career spanning over four decades.​ In 1986, Mithila made her film debut in "Biswas," portraying a dance teacher—a role that underscored her dual talents in acting and dance.
