Makhamali

The story takes place in a poor Nepali village and revolves around a single mother and her sweet young daughter, Makhamali. Their lives become difficult when a local man falls in love with the mother. In their strict, traditional community, this relationship sparks malicious village gossip that ruins the family's reputation.The situation becomes more chaotic when a reckless youth (Durgesh Thapa) brings modern, disruptive behaviors into the village. Facing financial heartbreak and social rejection, the mother is forced to make painful sacrifices to protect her daughter's future. It is an emotional melodrama that highlights how hard it is for single women to find happiness in a judgmental society.
