The story centers around a young boy who suffers sexual abuse at the hands of a respected family mentor/tutor. Told primarily from the perspective of his observant younger sister, she notices sudden, unsettling changes in her brother's behavior and sets out to discover the truth. When the uncomfortable reality comes to light, the family faces immense difficulty coming to terms with the betrayal committed by someone they trusted deeply.
