He was born on May 30, 1987, in Dhankuta, Nepal, and tragically passed away on January 14, 2017, in London, UK. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Nepalese hip-hop, often referred to as the "King of Nephop". Yama Buddha's music often addressed social issues, poverty, and personal struggles, resonating deeply with his audience. Some of his popular songs include "Saathi," "Aama," "Yo Prasanga," and "Antya Ko Suruwat". He also created and hosted the rap battle show "Raw Barz," which played a significant role in promoting hip-hop culture in Nepal.
