Rajaram Poudel, born on December 30, 1956, in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a distinguished Nepalese actor and comedian. He embarked on his acting journey in 1982 and has since contributed to over a hundred Nepali films and television series. ​ Throughout his extensive career, Poudel has portrayed a variety of roles, showcasing his versatility and depth as an actor. Some of his notable film credits include:​ Basanti (2000): Portrayed the character Pandit. ​ Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchu (2017): Delivered a memorable performance that resonated with audiences. ​ Yatra: A Musical Vlog (2019): Further showcased his acting prowess. ​ In addition to his film work, Poudel has made significant contributions to Nepali television. He is well-known for his role as Thulo Buwa in the long-running comedy series Jire Khursani (2003–2015) and as Leader in Brake Fail (2016–2018). ​ His dedication to the arts has been recognized with several accolades, including the Bhairab Genius Award in 2020.
