Thinley Lhamo (born circa 1997) is a Nepali-Tibetan actress best known for her powerful role as Pema in Shambhala (2024), Nepal’s Oscar entry and Berlinale selection. She previously starred in Naakaa (2017) and Hari (2018). Her performance in Shambhala earned her the Boccalino d’Oro Prize for Best Acting Performance at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. Lhamo’s journey began with the Nepal Tibet Opera Association, where she honed her stage presence. She trained under Anup Baral before landing the lead in Shambhala, a film shot in Dolpo’s rugged terrain

Barsha Siwakoti is a versatile Nepali actress and model recognized for her natural charm, graceful performances, and strong presence in both commercial and critically acclaimed films. Born on 6 April 1993, she entered the industry through modeling and music videos before making her film debut in Nai Nabhannu La 2 (2014). Her breakthrough came with Pashupati Prasad (2016), earning her a FAAN Award nomination for Best New Actress.She has since appeared in a wide range of genres—from action‑comedy to drama—solidifying her reputation as a dependable and expressive performer. Subhadra Adhikari was a revered Nepali actress whose artistic journey spanned more than six decades across film, theatre, radio, and television. Born in 2004 B.S. (1947/48 A.D.) in Asan, Kathmandu, she displayed exceptional talent from childhood—performing classical dance at age five at Saraswati Sadan (Camp) and beginning her acting career at age six through the Newari stage play ‘Kachimcha’ (काँचो माटो). Her debut film Manko Bandh marked the beginning of a prolific screen career. She also appeared in notable titles including Jeevan Rekha, Badlido Aakash, Pirati, Maya Preeti, Bhauju, Mangalsutra, Behuli, Karja, Kathmandu, Dashgaja, and more—winning the hearts of audiences through diverse roles. Honored with the Chalachitra Dhirgha Sadhana Samman, Subhadra Adhikari remains one of Nepal’s most enduring and respected performing artists.
