Ashish Rana Magar, known by his stage name Laure, is a trailblazing Nepali rapper, actor, and television personality born on June 25, 1989, in Pokhara, Nepal. He gained national fame through the underground rap battle platform Raw Barz, where his freestyle skills and lyrical depth revolutionized the Nepali hip-hop scene. Laure’s breakout track Mero Solta and hits like Nephop Ko Bato and Laure Ko Fashion helped popularize Nephop across Nepal. In 2016, he made his acting debut in the film Tandav, playing the lead role. From 2017 to 2021, he served as a judge on the reality show Himalayan Roadies, further cementing his influence among Nepali youth. Known for blending Western rap aesthetics with Nepali identity, Laure remains one of the most influential figures in Nepal’s contemporary music and pop culture

Gopal Yonjan (1943–1997) was a towering figure in Nepali music—an accomplished singer, lyricist, music director, arranger, flutist, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Darjeeling, India, he began his musical journey with the flute, winning accolades as a young performer. His deep study of Nepali folk, Rabindra Sangeet, and classical traditions shaped a career that spanned over three decades and more than 2,000 compositions. Yonjan moved to Kathmandu in 1967 to pursue his MA in Nepali and taught music at prestigious schools while composing for Radio Nepal, Nepal Police Club, and films. His partnership with Narayan Gopal is considered the golden era of Nepali modern music. He was known for blending poetic depth with rich orchestration, often writing, composing, and arranging his own songs. His works spanned genres—patriotic, romantic, philosophical, spiritual, and children's music. He was honored with the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu, Chinnalata Song Award, and multiple Best Music Director titles. His legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians and listeners.

Bima Kumari Dura is a renowned Nepali Lok Dohori singer celebrated for her soulful voice and contributions to traditional Nepali folk music. She hails from the Dura community in Lamjung, Nepal, and began her musical journey in 1989 with the song "Chhoriko Juni." Tsujil Karmacharya is a renowned name in the Nepali music industry. Born on 26 December, 1979, in a small village of Bhainse in Central Region of Nepal sharing his birthdays with some of the world famous musicians (Ulrich of Metallica and James Kottak of Scorpions), Tsujil is not only a singer but also a model, music composer and an engineer. He has various titles and professions added with his name and have gained popularity in short period of time because of his multi talented characteristic. He used to watch the cultural shows organized by Rapti Club, a local club, which really impressed him when he was a child. He was inspired by his uncle who used to perform with the club regularly and later, he started walking on the steps of his elder brother. He used to sing and record songs into a worn out tape-recorder, playing the flute and harmonica and pencil sketching, etc. became his hobbies and he took all opportunities he got of singing at his school’s cultural programs despite his shy nature. He picked up guitar for the first time at the age of 14. However, back then, guitars were not allowed in his hostel so in order to kill desperation, he tore a hard cover from an old notebook, shaped it into a guitar’s neck, drew lines to resemble fret boards in it and stapled it to give the feel of strings.
