Active since 1981, she has contributed vocals to more than 20+ classic Nepali films, including Basudev, Kusume Rumal, Lahure, Deuta, Dakshina, Chino, Rahar, and Dui Thopa Aansu. Her voice—soft, expressive, and emotionally rich—became a defining sound of Nepali film music for two decades.Beyond singing, Bharati Ghimire also worked as an actress, choreographer, and chief assistant director, making her one of the few multi‑disciplinary female artists of her generation.

Shiva Shankar Manandhar (1932–2004) was a legendary figure in Nepali music and cinema, celebrated for his versatility as a singer, composer, and actor. Born in Newroad, Kathmandu, to a musically inclined Newar family, his early exposure to classical Newari songs through his father, Man Bahadur, laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music. He joined Radio Nepal in 1951, where he collaborated with Nati Kaji to shape the golden era of Nepali music. Over his prolific career, he composed around 1,200 songs and sang nearly 300, spanning genres like love ballads, bhajans, patriotic anthems, and tragic melodies. His compositions for artists such as Narayan Gopal, Tara Devi, and Aruna Lama remain timeless. 🎬 In cinema, Shiva Shankar played the lead role of Lahure Dai in Aama (1964), Nepal’s first feature film. Mina Niraula is a Nepali singer. The songs sung by Meena are the most popular songs in the film 'LOOT -2', 'Thamel bajar ...', and the song 'Kale Dai ...' of the movie 'PARBA'. Born in Manipur, India, Mina used to sing Manipuri, Hindi and Bhajan songs in the starting phase. She had also participated in Nepali Tara-2 before coming to Nepali music. She also released the debut album PAHILA with singer Rojina Gurung.

Pratap Das was interested in the music since his early childhood. One day when his school had preparing for the welfare program for his senior. Teachers and program organizer were looking for a singer for this program. So, his friend said that Pratap can sing a song because he is interested in the music. Everyone forced to sing a song on the stage. This was the first stage program where he sang a song. Later, he started to participate in the different musical competition. One of the most popular shows of that time Nepali Tara Season Three was a place which gave him a name in Nepali Music Industry. At that competition, Pratap had become a Third Runner Up. The name Pratap Das became a most popular after started the first season of Nepal’s number one musical reality shows Nepal Idol 2017. He was the second runner-up of this reality show.
