Sunil Chhetri is a celebrated Nepali choreographer, performer, and music video director known for his energetic style and creative flair. Originally from Banke and raised in Lumbini, he rose from humble beginnings to become a household name in Nepal’s music and dance scene. Artistic Journey Inspired by Michael Jackson, Sunil began dancing in school programs and local events. Despite financial hardships, he pursued his passion relentlessly, eventually moving to Kathmandu where he worked as a dancer before joining the Armed Police Force. His national breakthrough came in 2013 when he competed in Dance India Dance Season 4, earning praise from Bollywood legend Mithun Chakraborty. Though an injury cut his journey short, it marked the start of his professional ascent. Career Highlights Choreographed/Directed over 300 music videos, including hits like "Bhirni Jholama", "Boke Jhar", "Chauka Dau", and "Nandani". Known for blending folk and freestyle with experimental elements—like zombie dancers in "Sarara Bhagaula". Appeared in the Bollywood film Happy New Year (2014) alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Peshla Katwal is a Nepali film actress who entered the industry with Prem Vivah (2011), while her first released film is Dulahi Rani (2012). Drawn to acting purely out of personal passion, she continued her journey with selected film projects and a handful of music videos. She completed the shooting of Play Girl and later worked on Thank You, after which her on‑screen activity gradually slowed down.Although she has not been consistently active in recent years, Peshla remains a name associated with early‑2010s Nepali cinema, and she may return to the screen in the future depending on the right opportunities.

Starting from his early career in the late 1980s, Deepak Dhakal emerged as a dedicated Nepali cinematographer known for his steady contribution to commercial and social‑themed Nepali cinema. He made his debut as a cinematographer with Sindoor and went on to work in more than 20 feature films, shaping the visual tone of 1990s and early‑2000s Nepali filmmaking.Dhakal’s filmography includes notable titles such as Shanti Deep (1989), Cheli Beti (1990), Pheri Bhetaula (1990), Didi (1992), Chokho Maya (1993), Chatyang (1994), Chahana (1994), Sarangi (1994), and Pahilo Prem (1997). His work is remembered for its grounded visual style, clarity in storytelling, and commitment to traditional Nepali cinematographic techniques.Beyond filmmaking, Dhakal served as a professor at Oscar International College, Nepal’s only dedicated film‑teaching institute, and was an active member of NEFTA, contributing to the professional development of the industry. He passed away on 3 December 2015 due to a brain hemorrhage, leaving behind a respected legacy in Nepali cinema.
