He is recognized for his performances in action, drama, and social films that were popular during the late 1990s and early 2000s Nepali cinema era.Lokendra Karki started his acting career with the film Soltini in 1995 and later appeared in several Nepali movies including Deurali, Dulaha Raja Dulaha Rani, Hatiyar, Jange, Army, Sadyantra, Maan, and Shasan.
