He has won Best Actor in a Negative Role at Kamana Film Award from the movie Sanrakshan. He has also written several Books, Novel like - "Fhulba Haran", "Katha Sanghra" (Story collection), "Kabita Sanghra", "Sankarman", "DomKach" (Maithili Drama), "Umash" (Nepali Novel), "Sangor" (Maithili Novel), "Murda", "Rakt Barsha", "RangRag" and many more. He is Former Drama Department chief and Academician at Nepal Academy of Music & Drama From 2010 to 2018.
