Dipesh Kishor Bhattarai is a well-known Nepali singer and composer who has made significant contributions to the Nepali music industry. He has released several popular songs, including Hosh Haraye Pani, Fortunes, and Forever, which have resonated deeply with listeners. His music blends pop and traditional Nepali sounds, making him a beloved figure in the industry.

Anjana Gurung is a prominent Nepali singer and live performer whose career spans modern, folk‑pop, adhunik, and playback music, with a catalogue that includes film songs, solo albums, and high‑profile live concerts. She has recorded over a thousand songs across genres, becoming a familiar voice in Nepali cinema and contemporary music. Her breakthrough came with her solo album Kali Sundari, which helped establish her as one of Nepal’s respected female vocalists.She has contributed playback vocals to films such as Chautari and Batuli, and her film songs include widely recognized titles like Ghumai Ghumai MD (Hami Taxi Driver) (2009), Salaijo (Gorkhe Salai) (2009), Sir Phool (Basana) (2008), Badanam Bhaye Ma (Anurodh) (2012), Gaurav Lagchha (Bacha Kasam) (2012), Jalse Mutu (2022), Aankhaima (2023), and Chudi Chhama Chham (2024).A trained musician with a senior diploma in music education, she is known for her versatile vocal texture—capable of soft emotional delivery, strong folk projection, and expressive stage performance.

Master Mitrasen Thapa Magar (1895–1946) was a pioneering Nepali folk singer, dramatist, social reformer, and cultural ambassador whose work laid the foundation for organized Nepali folk performance. Born in Bhagsu, Dharamshala, he served in the Gurkha Regiment before dedicating his life to music, theatre, and community upliftment. He performed widely across India and Nepal, including Kathmandu Durbar, where he presented folk songs, dramas, and shamanic‑influenced performances, earning high recognition and public felicitation. His mission was to preserve Nepali identity among diaspora communities through art, discipline, and cultural pride. Master Mitrasen recorded seven gramophone discs in Calcutta, a rare achievement for a Nepali artist of his era. Out of his 63 known compositions, 23 songs survive in recorded form. In 1942, he wrote “Buddhvaani” in Nepali to spread messages of peace, compassion, and social harmony. He passed away in 1946 while on a cultural tour, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire Nepali folk musicians worldwide.

Mallika Karki is one of the famous singers of the country. Originally from a remote village in Morang, she made this far despite a limited opportunity. She has done duet with several national and international artist including Udit Narayan Jha, Kumar Sanu, Ramkrishna Dhakal and Kumar Kancha. She started her singing career in 2064 BS with the duo song with Udit Narayan Jha titled ‘Laaj ko Lali’. She is known for her hits like ‘Yeti Dherai Manche Haru Ko Bhid Maa’, ‘Timile Nasamjhida Maya’, Aakhai Ma Rakhu Ki’ and ‘Kasari Kasari Aayou’. Her melodious voice entitled her to prestigious awards like Kalika Music Award, Sagarmatha Music Award, Music Khabar Music Award and Bindabasini Music Award.
