Roshan Das is a Nepali film director, music video director, lyricist, actor, and content creator from Godaita, Sarlahi, Nepal. At the age of 23, he has established himself as one of the emerging young filmmakers in Nepal through his dedication, creativity, and perseverance. Before entering feature filmmaking, Roshan directed more than 70 music videos and wrote over 10 songs. His notable directorial works include Bayan, Aadat, and Ramāune Manchhe, while his songwriting credits include Aafnai Swartha, Naya Itihas, Bhool Bhayo, and songs for his debut feature film Pratibairam. Despite having no formal education in filmmaking, Roshan built his career through practical experience and self-learning. He began creating videos during the COVID-19 pandemic using his father's Android phone before progressing to professional productions. His journey has been defined by persistence, overcoming financial and industry challenges while pursuing his passion for storytelling.
