She did her schooling from Panchodaya Higher Secondary School, Nepal and completed her undergraduate program from Kathmandu University. Sushma Adhikari was good Badminton player but she did not take her game to the national level as she had set her sights on the glamorous world of showbiz. Sushma Adhikari is also a well known face of music videos. She started her modelling journey through the song ‘Rog ho ki dosh ho’ and has acted in over 200+ music videos till date. She is now consider as one of the finest face of Nepali Cine world. Sushma Adhikari made her cinematic debut with "Anoutho Prem Katha" A film by Kanchan Shahi.
