Tenzin Dhundup, a.k.a. Sonam Topden, a well-known young Tibetan singer, songwriter and composer, is originally from India Manali and is based in Nepal. He gained popularity by singing cover songs in different languages like Tibetan, Hindi, Nepali and English via Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms. He is also known as the first Tibetan heartthrob among Tibetans. In 2016, he released his first official music video, "Palkyi la," which was self-written and debuted his acting talents. It was a huge hit and loved by many around the world. His second record-breaking hit song, "Kunsel," with Tibetan female singer Tenzin Kunsel, was also self-written and has gained over a million views. His third song, "Ta Serpo," was released in November 2016. In may 2017, he composed a Nepali music video, "Timi Mero Bhavisha." Sonam Topden took the first stage in front of an audience of thousands during the Tibetan Losar in Bylakupee, India, along with Bollywood dancing star Raghav Juyal and MJ. After that successful concert, he performed at numerous live concerts around India, Nepal and Switzerland. Sonam Topden has a huge interest in charity events. He performed for many charitable shows, such as Srongtsen Annual Charity event in Nepal, Chenrezig School back-to-back charity event in Delhi, Dehradun, and a pilgrimage organized by Drokpo in Nepal. (Albums) Sonam Topden's first album, Norbu Shug Yoe, was launched in Bodh Gaya during Kalachakra Puja in 2017.

Kushal Bista is a Nepali film actor known for his rising presence in contemporary cinema and digital platforms. Born on April 19, 1996, in Kathmandu, he began his artistic journey in theatre—training at Shailee Theatre—before transitioning to screen acting. He first gained attention through popular YouTube web series such as “Wrong Time” and “Hami Yastai Ho Bro,” which helped establish his youthful on‑screen identity. Bista made his feature‑film debut in “Lukamari” (2016) and later appeared in titles including “Bhuimanchhe” (2017) and “Jhingedaau” (2022), showcasing a shift from digital popularity to mainstream film roles. Active since 2016, he continues to build a career defined by natural performance style, audience appeal, and a growing body of work across Nepali cinema.

Shiva Shankar Manandhar (1932–2004) was a legendary figure in Nepali music and cinema, celebrated for his versatility as a singer, composer, and actor. Born in Newroad, Kathmandu, to a musically inclined Newar family, his early exposure to classical Newari songs through his father, Man Bahadur, laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music. He joined Radio Nepal in 1951, where he collaborated with Nati Kaji to shape the golden era of Nepali music. Over his prolific career, he composed around 1,200 songs and sang nearly 300, spanning genres like love ballads, bhajans, patriotic anthems, and tragic melodies. His compositions for artists such as Narayan Gopal, Tara Devi, and Aruna Lama remain timeless. 🎬 In cinema, Shiva Shankar played the lead role of Lahure Dai in Aama (1964), Nepal’s first feature film.
