Kabita Gelal Sharma

Sita Gurung is a former Nepali stage dancer and film actress. During the mid-1990s, she was actively involved in cultural and comedy programs organized by the legendary Maha Jodi and performed in Nepal as well as abroad, including Hong Kong. She was also a featured dance performer in the popular touring stage show Shikhar Sanjh, which traveled to various parts of the country and attracted large audiences.Building on her success as a stage performer, Sita Gurung later entered the Nepali film industry and appeared in movies such as Aaghat (1996) and Daiva Sanjog (1998). Sharmila Sharma is a Nepali actress known for her emotionally grounded roles in films, telefilms, and serials since 2000. She debuted with Hulchul and appeared in Hasideu Ek Phera, Mero Maya Timilai, Shaanti, and Kachuli. Her television work includes popular serials like Bhumari, Hari Bahadur–Madan Bahadur, Tito Satya, and Naari. Jayanendra Chand Thakuri (1942–2020) was a prolific Nepali film actor whose career helped shape the foundation of modern Nepali cinema. A former Indian Army serviceman and Jawalakhel Youth Club cricketer, he entered films with Jeevan Rekha (1982) and went on to appear in over 100 films, becoming one of the most recognizable character actors of his era. His notable works include Kanchhi, Bishwas, Maya Preeti, Pheri Bhetaula, Angarakshyak, and Parkhi Base. Mukunda Mainali is a Nepali film and television actor known for his strong presence in social‑themed TV serials and his consistent contribution to Nepali screen acting. He is widely recognized for his role in the popular social serial “Juthe”, where he appears as one of the principal cast members alongside Rabi Giri, Bidhya Karki, Rambabu Regmi, Sarmila Sharma, and others.Mainali’s work in Juthe-a serial centered on the Dalit emancipation movement and social justice has made him a familiar face in contemporary Nepali television. The series airs on Himalaya Television and is directed by Raju Poudel and Marichman Shrestha.He is also credited as part of the cast of the iconic Nepali sitcom “Tito Satya”, one of Nepal’s longest‑running and most‑watched comedy‑drama series. The show featured a large ensemble cast, including Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Gopal Dhakal, Prem Pandey, and others, with Mukunda Mainali listed among the recurring actors.
