In addition to his musical legacy, Kumar Kanchha also made a mark as an actor. He appeared in the iconic film Saino (directed by Ugyen Chopel), where his song “Kalko Pani Rakshi Ganayo” became a cultural phenomenon. He also acted in films like Lahure and Koshili, contributing both as a performer and playback singer.
