Gyanu Rana is a celebrated Nepali singer known for her contributions to modern and folk music. Born on October 3, 1949, in Batulechaur, Pokhara, Nepal, she grew up in a musically rich environment. Her father, Dharmaraj Thapa, was a renowned poet and folk singer, and her mother, Savitri Thapa, was a cultural promoter. Gyanu Rana's upbringing deeply influenced her musical journey. She has recorded over 2,000 songs in various languages, including Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Newari. Her repertoire spans modern, classical, folk songs, bhajans, and ghazals. Some of her most iconic songs include "Siri Ma Siri Ni Kanchha" and "Manchhe Ko Maya Yaha," which she performed with the legendary Narayan Gopal. Gyanu Rana has also been a judge in national music competitions and has represented Nepal in international cultural festivals. Her career includes contributions to more than ten Nepali films as a playback singer. She retired as an Assistant Director of Music from the Royal Nepal Academy in 2006.  

Sarad Shrestha is one of Nepal’s most influential guitarists and genre‑shifting musicians, active for over three decades in the Nepali music scene. Beginning his journey after SLC, he formed his first band Black Band and later became widely known as the guitarist of The Axe Band, contributing 12 years and four albums. A versatile performer, he has worked across rock, stoner metal, ska‑punk, rap‑rock, and grunge, performing with bands such as Black Wizard, The Sound Mill, Kathmandu Mayhem, Intellectual Morons, Tumbleweed Inc., Project One, and Shree 3, where he also sings. Respected for his emotional playing and fearless experimentation, Shrestha remains a defining figure in modern Nepali rock.

Sushant Ghimire is a rising Nepali singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and soulful melodies. Originally from Biratnagar, he discovered his passion for music early on—singing Raju Lama’s “Timi Lai Dekhera” at a school event sparked his journey. Despite initially pursuing engineering and working full-time at a construction company, his love for music led him to perform cover songs and original compositions at bars in Kathmandu, often juggling gigs with his day job. His notable songs include: - “Mann Chari” – a poetic reflection on inner peace and freedom - “Bujhau Malai” – a heartfelt lyrical piece - “Feri Feri” – a tribute to love and friendship - “Eklo Mann” – written from a female perspective for the drama Kohi Kina Barbaad Hos Ghimire’s music blends emotional storytelling with a modern acoustic sound, resonating with listeners who appreciate authenticity and vulnerability.

Dinesh Subba is a distinguished Nepali composer, singer, and lyricist, celebrated for his significant contributions to the country's music scene. Born in 1962 in Darjeeling, India, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music, laying the foundation for his artistic journey. Throughout his career, Subba has crafted numerous songs that have resonated with audiences. His discography includes the album "Spandan" released in 1991, and more recent works like the single "Yo Bhetko Samjhana (Acoustic Version)" released on July 23, 2024. Additionally, his collaboration on the album "Mannko Duri," released on March 30, 2023, showcases his versatility and enduring relevance in the music industry.
