Dayaram Dahal

Resh Marhatta (Suresh Marhatta) is a highly versatile Nepalese actor, filmmaker, author, and educator. Known for his polished screen presence and diverse background, he has bridged the worlds of cinema, business, and literature.

Reshraj Acharya was a respected Nepali film director known for his emotional storytelling and strong command of family and social‑themed cinema. He began his directorial journey with the film Tilhari and went on to direct notable works such as Tuhuro, Mato Bolchha, Bandhan, Aama, Man Muttu Ra Maya, Mayako Saino, Bhagyale Jurayo, Nagad Narayan, and Dharmasankat. His final directorial project was Preetiko Phool. Acharya also directed television serials including Dushman and Aama, and served as assistant director on films like Sapana, Sampatti, and Mayalu. He passed away on Falgun 5, 2078 B.S., at the age of 64.

Madhab Raj Kharel  (Madhab Kharel) is a prominent figure in the Nepali film industry. He began his career in 1998 with his first written and directed drama, "Jana Chetana," which became immensely popular in Nepal at that time. Following the success of "Jana Chetana," he produced and directed telefilms such as "Kasur" and "Kasto Yo Jiwan." Throughout his career, Kharel has directed several films that focus on human rights, love stories, research-based subjects, and women's rights. Some notable films in his directorial portfolio include "Hyebe Karait Bhor," "Birano Maya," "Dhunge Yug" (the first Nepali Silence movie ), "Dhunge Yug ... The Human Civilization," "Gadhimai 2066," "Durgamandu" & "Chitthi" In addition to his filmography, Kharel has directed around two dozen plus documentary films and over two dozen music videos to date. His contributions to the industry have been recognized through various awards and honors. Some of the accolades he has received include the Jury in Samjhana Digital Film Award (D-Cine Award) 2010, Sudaradevi Music Award in 2015 and 2018, Music Khabar Music Award in 2015, Model Songs Awards in 2018, Nepal Cultural International Film Festival in 2018 & 2021, Sagarmatha Music Award in 2018, Rastriya Sangeetkarmi Music Award in 2018, National Entertainment Award in 2021, and the Nepal-Africa Film Festival in 2021 & 2022. Kharel also holds a Guinness World Records, and he has been honored with the Best Director Awards and has also been decorated with the prestigious 'Prabal Janasewa Shree - Fourth' for his enormous contribution in Nepali cinema and arts. Madhab Raj Kharel's contributions have significantly impacted the Nepali film industry, and he continues to be an influential figure in the field. Dipendra Lama is a renowned Nepali film director, writer, and former film journalist who transitioned into filmmaking after an 18‑year career in film journalism. He is widely recognized for directing successful films such as Ghampani (2017), Gopi (2019), Chha Maya Chhapakkai (2019), Dui Numberi (2022), and Nango Gaun (2023). His upcoming film Dukhi Aatma (2025) continues his trajectory as one of Nepal’s most consistent storytellers.Born into a Buddhist Tamang family, Lama began his professional journey in 2000 as a film journalist at Naya Sadak Daily, later contributing to major publications including Nepal Samacharpatra, Spacetime, Naya Patrika, Nepal Weekly Magazine, and Nagarik. His journalistic excellence earned him the Fine Art Journalism Award (2016) from the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.His directorial debut, Ghampani (2017), marked his shift from journalism to cinema, driven by his deep understanding of storytelling and social issues. The film addressed caste discrimination and received strong critical reception.
