Born on September 12th in Kavresthali, Rawaltar, Shashi Rawal developed a passion for singing at a young age. Encouraged by her parents, Shashi pursued her musical dreams, despite initial resistance from her father. Her love for music blossomed as she started writing her own lyrics and composing songs, and her talent was soon recognized after winning a competition that led to her recording her first song. Her breakthrough moment came with the song "Chahana Sakiyo", which garnered significant attention and appreciation. This success paved the way for her to collaborate with popular singer Yash Kumar on his album, marking a major milestone in her career. Over the years, Shashi has contributed to various albums, remixes, and jingles, establishing herself as a talented and versatile artist. With a gold medal in her junior diploma from Kala Nidhi Indira Sangeet Maha Vidhalaya, Shashi Rawal continues to grow as an artist, constantly exploring new avenues to express her passion for music.

Kiran Rasaily (born 24 March 1947, Kolkata) was one of Sikkim’s most versatile and influential artists—an accomplished composer, multi‑instrumentalist, photographer, painter, architect, and cultural mentor. He gave his first public musical performance in 1953 in Gangtok and rose to prominence in 1964 after composing the patriotic song “Sikkim Dhara Hara Bhara…” written by Jaybir Subba. Gifted with mastery over harmonium, banjo, mouth‑organ, violin and the iconic piano‑accordion presented to him by the Chogyal, Rasaily became a central figure in Sikkim’s musical ceremonies and later co‑founded the Denzong Musical Society. Parallel to his artistic journey, he built a distinguished career as an architect, designing landmark structures across Gangtok, Namchi, and beyond. His passing at 79 marked the loss of a rare multi‑talented cultural treasure whose contributions continue to shape Sikkim’s artistic and architectural identity.

Gyanu Rana is a celebrated Nepali singer known for her contributions to modern and folk music. Born on October 3, 1949, in Batulechaur, Pokhara, Nepal, she grew up in a musically rich environment. Her father, Dharmaraj Thapa, was a renowned poet and folk singer, and her mother, Savitri Thapa, was a cultural promoter. Gyanu Rana's upbringing deeply influenced her musical journey. She has recorded over 2,000 songs in various languages, including Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Newari. Her repertoire spans modern, classical, folk songs, bhajans, and ghazals. Some of her most iconic songs include "Siri Ma Siri Ni Kanchha" and "Manchhe Ko Maya Yaha," which she performed with the legendary Narayan Gopal. Gyanu Rana has also been a judge in national music competitions and has represented Nepal in international cultural festivals. Her career includes contributions to more than ten Nepali films as a playback singer. She retired as an Assistant Director of Music from the Royal Nepal Academy in 2006.  

Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, and producer based in New York City. He released his debut single, "Aaja Matra", in 2014 and rose to prominence after the release of his singles "Hawaijahaj" and "Chitthi Bhitra".
