Raj Bahadur Sane

Santosh Panta is a renowned Nepali comedian, actor, director, and songwriter. He is best known for his iconic sitcom Hijo Aaja Ka Kura, which aired on Nepal Television and addressed contemporary social issues. The show ran for an impressive 13 years with 699 episodes and later returned for 117 episodes on Kantipur Television. It also served as a platform for many Nepali comedians, including Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula. Santosh Panta began his acting journey at the age of 7 and has appeared in around 30 movies, including Badalido Aakash and Chauka Dau. The first film he made was ‘April Fool’. He has acted in more than 2,000 series. He has also directed and acted in various Gaijatra comedy performances, theater productions, and television series. Additionally, he was a judge on the reality show Comedy Champion.

Dinesh D.C., whose full name is Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a prominent figure in the Nepali entertainment industry. He has made significant contributions as a film director, producer, actor, and TV presenter. Over the years, he has directed and acted in several acclaimed Nepali films, including Maya's Bar and Chha Ekan Chha. His work has earned him numerous awards, such as the National Film Award for Best Director. Beyond his film career, Dinesh D.C. has also been involved in broadcasting, serving as the Station Head of Kantipur Television Network and Station Manager of Radio Kantipur. In 2019, he was honored with the Prabal Janasewa Shree award for his contributions to Nepalese society.

Yogendra Karki is a versatile Nepalese film director, actor, editor, ad/documentary maker, and assistant director, whose dynamic presence and creative expertise have made a significant impact on the Nepali film industry. His journey into cinema began with his debut in the 2019 film Kuraute, which marked the start of a steadily rising and diverse career in filmmaking. Since stepping into the industry, Karki has continually showcased his multifaceted talents, contributing across various domains of film production. However, he is particularly recognized for his role as a highly skilled and accomplished Assistant Director, having worked on more than 25 films. His ability to coordinate complex productions, manage creative and logistical challenges, and support directorial vision has made him an invaluable asset on set.

B.S. Thapa is recognized as one of the early pillars of Nepali cinema, contributing as a director, writer, and actor during the formative decades of the industry. He is best known for directing the acclaimed film Manko Baadh (1973), which earned strong appreciation for its emotional depth and social storytelling. Thapa also worked on several influential projects that helped shape the narrative style of Nepali films in the 1970s and 1980s, bringing literary sensitivity and dramatic realism to the screen. His commitment to character‑driven stories and disciplined filmmaking made him a respected figure among his contemporaries. Through his films, mentorship, and long-standing dedication to the craft, B. S. Thapa played a meaningful role in strengthening the foundation of Nepali cinema.
