Madhusudan Bhattarai (also credited as Madhu Sudan Bhattarai) is a Nepali film director, story writer, and chief assistant director active in the industry since the early 2000s. Known for his grounded storytelling and command over commercial drama, he has directed feature films such as Black Night (2013), Blackmail (2012), Nirbhay (2017), Destination Kathmandu (2018), and the upcoming Hami Teen Bhai (2026), where he also serves as the story writer.Beginning his career as a chief assistant director and assistant director, Bhattarai contributed to projects like Pahuna (2003), Daiko Sasurali (2010), Gorkha Rakshyak (2008), and Pratikaar (2013) before transitioning into full directorial leadership. His early technical roles—including work as chief assistant editor on Kathmandu (2010)—helped shape his precise visual and narrative style.

Deepak Rayamajhi was a celebrated Nepali film director and producer widely regarded as a key figure in shaping modern commercial Nepali cinema. Known for introducing fresh faces, stylish visuals, and contemporary storytelling, he played a major role in defining the look and rhythm of Nepali films during the 1980s and 1990s. Rayamajhi directed several successful films, including Bhagya Rekha, Kasam, Aafno Manche, Aafno Ghar Aafnai Manche, and Ghar Sansar, helping launch and elevate the careers of many actors. His work blended emotion, music, and social themes, earning him a lasting legacy as one of Nepal’s most influential filmmakers

Sahara Sharma is an independent Nepali filmmaker, writer, producer, and media entrepreneur recognized for her socially grounded narratives and youth‑focused storytelling. After completing her Master’s of Science in Communication from Bangalore University, she founded Gauthali Entertainment in Kathmandu, where she began shaping her voice as a director and media creator.Starting her career as a journalist with Nepal Republic Media, Sahara transitioned into filmmaking with several short films before directing her first television film, Chasing Rainbows (2013) — a bold exploration of sexuality, migration, and depression among Nepali youth. The film opened the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF 2013), won the Nepal Panorama Award, and later received the Critics’ Award at the Toronto Nepali Film Festival (2014).She has since produced and directed two television series — Gauthali ka Kathaharu (2017–18) and Maya Bhanne Cheez Estai Ho (2018–19) — and hosts Gauthali Talks (2020–), a roundtable show on cinema and media. Her new feature‑length project, Ek Mutthi Badal, marks her return to narrative filmmaking.

Dinesh D.C., whose full name is Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a prominent figure in the Nepali entertainment industry. He has made significant contributions as a film director, producer, actor, and TV presenter. Over the years, he has directed and acted in several acclaimed Nepali films, including Maya's Bar and Chha Ekan Chha. His work has earned him numerous awards, such as the National Film Award for Best Director. Beyond his film career, Dinesh D.C. has also been involved in broadcasting, serving as the Station Head of Kantipur Television Network and Station Manager of Radio Kantipur. In 2019, he was honored with the Prabal Janasewa Shree award for his contributions to Nepalese society.
