He is a graduate in Digital Filmmaking from SAE Institute, Australia. Mr. Sherpa has also worked on several international projects. In 2013, he joined an International Production House in Dubai called Studio 52 and worked for more than one year as the Director, he returned to Nepal in 2015 and has started working with CNN. As a Freelance Producer at CNN, he delivers video footage, still pictures, and stories from in and around Nepal that CNN uses on its platforms. Mr. Sherpa who joined AP1 HD TV in 2016 has been working in popular Television show includes Idea Studio Season 5, Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya, Glamour Guff and Rajatpat. He has directed more than 100 music videos, several TVCs, documentary films, and corporate videos. Phurba Sherpa is the producer/ director of the show Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya which has been included by World Book of Records, London for keeping the highest altitude television talk show filmed at 5550 meters at Everest base camp.
