Tilak Singh Pela is a revered name in Nepali classical and modern music, known for his soulful voice, deep-rooted classical training, and dedication to nurturing future generations of musicians. Born in Dashrathchand Municipality, Baitadi, in the Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal, Pela has spent over two decades enriching the Nepali music scene with his artistry and mentorship. Classical Music Journey Studied Indian classical music at Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India. Trained under Guru Debashish Dev and Pandit Dhana Bahadur Gopali. Founded Shree Krishna Gurukul Sangeet Pathshala in Banasthali, Kathmandu. As a music instructor and founder, he has mentored numerous young talents who now contribute actively to Nepali music. Ganesh Rasik is a well-known Nepali singer, musician, author, and social worker. He has made significant contributions to Nepali music and literature, particularly during the 'Ralfa' era, which played a crucial role in shaping modern Nepali music. Before joining 'Ralfa,' Rasik was more focused on writing, but his involvement in the movement made him inseparable from music. Later, he was also associated with 'Lekali,' another influential music group. Some of his popular songs include: Rato Bhale (with Hiranya Bhojpure) Timraa Sapanaahru Saaili Mero Atit Antaraal I & II Apart from music, Rasik has authored several literary works, including Kshitizlai Chhuna Khojda and Dusgajaamaa Ubhiyera Swaadhintaako Pida. His contributions have earned him numerous honors, such as the Gorkha Dakshin Baahu and Ratnashree Swarna Padak.

Dhiraj Rai , popularly known as the Stage King, is a legendary Nepali singer, songwriter, and musician from Khotang, Nepal. He began his musical journey in 1990 with the song “Luki Luki”, which marked the start of a vibrant career in Nepali pop and rock music. Known for his electrifying stage presence and heartfelt lyrics, Dhiraj Rai became a household name with hits like “Timi Ruda Eklai Huda”, “Mysterious Girl”, and “Himal Najhuke Samma”. His albums such as Premi, Prithak, and Buddha Was Born in Nepal reflect his versatility and deep connection to Nepali identity and global themes. Rai’s music often explores love, longing, and national pride, blending Western rock influences with Nepali sentiment. With over three decades in the industry, he remains a beloved figure and a pioneer of modern Nepali pop-rock.

Koili Devi Mathema (1929–2007) was a trailblazer in the Nepali music industry, celebrated as the first woman lyricist, singer, and composer. Born as Radha Basnet in Chisapani Gadhi, Makwanpur, Nepal, she was affectionately nicknamed "Koili" (meaning "cuckoo bird") for her melodious voice. Her career began at Radio Nepal after the establishment of democracy in Nepal, and she went on to record over 4,000 songs, including modern and patriotic pieces. She also composed iconic songs like "Jahi ra juhi phul mala gansi duwaile launla." Koili Devi received numerous accolades, including the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu V and Chinnalata Music Award, for her contributions to Nepali music.
