Bijay Shivakotee is a respected Nepali lyricist and poet active since 1986, celebrated for his emotionally resonant, conversational writing style. Born on 23rd Baisakh 2023 BS in Sanghutar Bajar, Ramechhap district, Uttam Bhaukajee emerged as a creative force in Nepali literature and music. The youngest among his siblings, he was raised by his parents, Badri Das Bhaukajee and Dil Kumari Bhaukajee, who instilled in him a strong foundation of values and learning. He completed his school education at Himganga Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, earning his SLC degree, and in 2040 BS, he moved to Kathmandu for higher education. There, he pursued and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Nepal Law Campus, Tribhuvan University, though he chose not to enter the legal profession. Instead, he explored diverse fields and currently serves as the Founder Director of Nobel Academy—a testament to his leadership and dedication to education. Musical Breakthrough and Popular Songs Uttam Bhaukajee’s lyrical journey took off with Ram Krishna Dhakal’s music album Asraya, featuring his debut song: 🎵 "Mera Saara Khusiharu" – Composed by Sambhujeet Banskota This track marked the beginning of a meaningful collaboration between his poetic voice and Nepali music. Kali Prasad Rijal is a celebrated Nepali lyricist and poet. His works are deeply admired for their poetic essence and emotional depth. Some of his classic songs, such as Kehi Mitho Baat Gara, Aankha Chopi Narou Bhani, and Jhareko Paat Jhai, were performed and composed by the legendary Narayan Gopal. Recently, Rijal collaborated with musician Aavaas for the Paleti music series, where Aavaas presented compositions and vocals for Rijal's new lyrics. Additionally, Rijal launched his new book, Kehi Mitho Baat Gara, which features 20 poems and 68 songs, along with staff notations for 10 of his songs to assist musicians. Dr. Naba Raj Lamsal is a Nepali poet, radio journalist, and government official. He was born on July 23, 1969, in Jyamrung, Dhading, Nepal. He has made significant contributions to Nepali literature and media, serving as the Director of Program Division at Radio Nepal and previously working as a correspondent for BBC Nepali Service.
